Much depends on what must you are using if for and what the yeast requires in terms of the nutrients it needs. Buying the commercial stuff means you are covered for a range of musts and yeasts. Some yeasts do just fine in certain musts with no need to add anything.

For many years wine makers added dead yeast cells. You rehydrate bread yeast and boil the yeast and when cool you add this to your must

There’s Fermaid O. “Organic”
Contains organic nitrogen instead of DAP.

But natural things as nutrient? Not sure.
How bout Oxygen!? It’s really all about the nitrogen content in the must tho.

Fermaid A & Fermaid K are not considered organic, as they have DAP. There is also Go-Ferm "an OMRI listed yeast rehydration nutrient. Go-Ferm is the original natural yeast rehydration nutrient containing a balance of micronutrients."
