Hi everyone. I have actually been using your site for the last 2 weeks to get me started on some banana wine. I was introduced to kit wines about 3 years ago and have probably made at least 45 to date. Most of which have been RJS. I figure it's time to start now on fruit wines. I have to say , I'm impressed with how quick people are to respond to questions and problems. Hopefully I won't have too many.Lol:db

Welcome to a great forum. You've made quite a few kits - any of the 2 or 3 year old ones still around? What part of BC are you located?

Right now we're in the lower mainland, but we've built our retirement home in the Shuswap where we'll be moving to in the next year or two. I still have a couple of bottles of a Lodi Gold Barbera aged at 3 years.A few dozen Barolo's aged at 2 years but other than that they usually disappear before the 2 year mark. I have about 350 bottled and 4 -23 L Carboys bulk aging, 3 in primary stage including my Banana Wine I'm trying

You've got a good cellar going there. You're going to be fairly close to the Okanagan - do you get vineyards up as far as Shuswap?

Ya we do. It's in the Okanagan. The only problem with the vineyards is they all belong to wineries, so trying to get any grapes is not an easy task
