Morning everyone. New member here from the greatest city on earth, Toronto, jk it’s Halifax lol. I’ve been stalking the forums for a decent bit now and decided wth I’d register so as to join the convo about making decent wine and cider from blackcurrants since I wasn’t seeing anyone talk about making anything from the greatest berry on earth not jk this time lol. Right now I’m making a 6 gal batch of blackcurrant cider, blackcurrant wine, and a mix of blackcurrant and apple cider. I just finished and racked two 6 gal Sauvignon blanc which I plan on shipping country wide to my friends and family. Thanks again everyone for reading my mini rant and cheers.

I searched on "blackcurrant" and found a lot of posts, many of which just mention the term. But you'll find older thread regarding making blackcurrant wine.

Note that members come-n-go, so with older threads many of the participants may be in the "gone" category. Start a new thread and you'll most likely get interested folks.

Black currant, I just bottled a currant with cocoa powder. The polyphenols are intense so when I try it again in 25 I’ll have to cut the kilos of fruit. Apple, ,, and I have gallons so I use it like water. It will be interesting to hear what you do / like enough to do again.
