Nice human interest story.

For those of you who are John Wayne fans and saw the movie "Rio Bravo," you may remember the actor who played the Mexican owner of the hotel. His name is Pedro Gonzalez Gonzales and he got his start in a real life "big break" thanks to John Wayne and Groucho Marx. Wayne was watching the Groucho Marx Show when Pedro came on as a contestant and was so taken by his out going nature and natural humor that he contacted him and suggested that he try acting. He did and acted in 86 movies in his long career. Here is a tape of the original show. It is really a neat story. By the way, he stayed married to the wife he mentions for 64 years!

Thanks for that laugh Rocky, Hadn't seen that one in years. I wonder if he was from San Antonio as the NBC affiliate in SA is WOAI Channel 4. Great dead pan character.
