Not Clearing

5 gallon carboy not clear. I added the recommended sparkaloid and waited 3 weeks. still not clear. Added another 1/2 tspn 60 hrs ago. still no change.

Have you degassed well? Often wine won't clear if it is still saturated with CO2.

Fruit wine or grape wine? If it’s fruit and you did not add pectin enzyme, you may need to do that.

Yes, what kind of wine. One possibility - sparkalloid is positively charged to remove negatively charged particles. Bentonite removes positively charged particles.

Does the recipe call for pectic enzyme?

if all else fails try time, i had a pare once that took me close to a year, but man was it good,

How warm is it? Usually want it in the upper 70's or so to help it fall clear. Arne.
