Hi all

This was kinda fun - we have 2008 syrah with different oak flavors so made 3 labels with different color borders and matching capsules. The red one is hungarian, blue is french and green is american oak. I also put very small letters after the syrah aoh (american oak heavy) etc.

and here they are:

also, I have been using the wooden 'bottle holder' for labeling for a long time. I have a piece of tape to align the bottom of the label. The top tape is for the 375 size. Works well for me.

and still have a lot to bottle - but am thinking of making a blend with the rest - have 1 each of syrah french and american; 1 merlot and 1 cab sav and 1 syrah with zero oak.

and here is our 'bottling line'. We bottle and cork in the cool room (60 degrees) then take out to the labeling and capsule area and then back in to the 'cold'!!

well, that's it in a nutshell - just thought I would share.

a couple more pictures will be in the 'wine room' thread.

Nice use of Coke Totes! That is also a good example of a labeling aide that came up as a question a few days ago. Great job!
