Love the pictures of the wood working and the circet board. I can see how they are relaxing.
This is what I do while I am watching the tiny bubbles

Very artistic Ron! This is a place of many talents. I'm about to start another batch of strawberry chocolate as soon as the strawberries thaw. I'll pay more attention this time!!

Hannabarn that is one awesome piece! With a grand baby coming in April I only wish I was that good!

I have always dug well done wood working.

I cheat though. I love the smell of freshly cut wood, but get to hide all the inprefections with marine bondo, fiberglass and glecoat

This was one of my builds ( trying to hide from the now ex-wife that summer )

Nuh uh! I can't draw my way out of paper bag. There's no way that I could do wood burning like that. My idea of wood burning is to toss another log on the fire!

I can't draw, sing, play a musical instrument, but I can do a lot of other things for which I am thankful. Everyone has talents, they just need to recognize them and use them.

I hear you there PWP as I struggle with stick figures! Zember, that boat is awesome, did you use marine plywood?

Are you kidding me ?

I can't make a stick figure look like a stick figure !

Anyone that can draw anything that forms a picture , that has always blown me away.

I dig the burning you did on page 1

Great job !

Nope, Marine grade plywood is so darn expensive not to mention, you don't want to be breathing in that saw dust, it isn't the good smelling wood I mentioned.

I did a monocoat on that hydrorunner. It was only 1/4 luan and 1/2 fir ply. I expoy coated every last inch on the inside and on the outside with 2 wraps of 7 ounce clothe to boot. so it was water tight lumber beyond belief.

That little thing knocked in at 38 MPH, the prop wasnt tuned to the motor and the motor was an old merc beast, but even so that fast only 4 inches off the water.

It was well worth the 7 months I spent on it.

That hydrorunner looks like it would be a hoot to drive or aim which ever.
By the way I also do gun stocks and releef carving.Edited by: corn field

Would you be interested in helping a fellow wino out ?

I was thinking how cool it would be to have a lathed piece of wood about 2 inches longer then my hydro meter, but the inside being hollowed out so the hydrometer could slip into it and the wood , would be lathed as so it has a cap ?

Is that something you could do ? price ? be into ?

I think that would be so ( personalized ) for my toys , I mean ( tools )

I'm sure you could do it! I've made 7 of them over the years. I just finished this one for a friend of my son. I told him he has to get older friends!! The cost of material keeps going up. It now costs over $200 for material including the mattress,
