I would like to tweak the color of a
peach wine that I'm making. It's a white grape/peach concentrate that I wanted
to try and it appears as it is clearing that it may stay more yellow then the
soft orangish/pink color I expected. Can I use a food coloring to adjust the
color or should I use a darker wine that I already have, (in a small amount so
as not to change the flavor)?</font>

I was thinking that food coloring
would settle out with other sediment... is that correct? </font>
Or is there a better way to adjust
this color issue?</font>

Should I have done something early on that would have changed the outcome of the color...?

So Many questions, I apologize (so eager to learn, more, more, more...to be able to Enjoy more, more, more...)

As Always, I appreciate your responses.

I am sure someone will chime in here that has tried it but I don't see why you couldn't use food color. I don't believe it would fall out of the liquid. My kids have made craft items like "The Ocean" in bottles before and it stayed light blue like when it was made.

Might try just a tad of the red grape concentrate. It won't take much to chang it so go slow with it

Thought about the Grape concentrate but there's been talk on the forum about having difficulty getting wines to clear after its use.
This wine will need to age for sometime though, may be Ok to use concentrate for this.

I myself wouldn,t worry about the color as much as how it taste,if it taste good than leave it alone,if your not going to send it into competition don,t even give it a second thought,,taste it if its good enjoy ,learn for the next time wiith trial batches,,,,,
