pear and peach...blend or no?

i have about 100lbs of pears. Plan on making a 5 gal batch of pure pear, but i have access to about another 100 or so lbs and was wondering what the taste would be like if i mixed in peaches with it? It sounds like it would be good. Anyone ever done this or are the flavors too distinct to mix? I have heard of pear/apple blends. What say ye?

Never done it but it does sound good. Ferment them both separately and then blend some in a glass to see how it tastes. And make sure you measure

I agree with Julie on doing bench trails after the wine has finished.

ditto what the others said....pear can be so light that i think it befriends apple before it cozys up to peach
