I wanted to make a piesporter wine and was considering buying a Winexpert before they were gone. I noticed though that RJ Spagnolshas a piesporter and wanted to ask if anyone has tried this one and can compare it to the Winexpert and tell me which is better?

I like all the RJS products better myself including the fining agents cause Ive had a few problems with winexpert kits clearing. The RJS is on sale also!

Sounds like RJS is what I'm going with

I was drinking that very kit on Friday night! It goes so nicely with spicy Thai Curry dishes! This is very close to most commercial German Piesporters, and has a lovely floral note and taste to it.

I used the whole f-pack, but next time, I think I'd use only 3/4s of it, and put 1/4 in during the fermentation. It is supposed to finish at a 1, but I think that this is more like a 1.5.

I'm also talking about the Cellar Classic Piesporter, not the Grand Cru German Piesporter. I've not made the piesporter from that line up.

B.J. I made the MM VN Piesporter and is an excellent white summer wine. In fact, I just ordered another kit for this summer to drink.

My info tells me that RJS makes FOUR Piesporters (although I don't think George will be carrying the Heritage Estates line). Care to tell us which one? and I wonder how many WE makes (as I didn't check)?

I apologize, I'm talking about the Cellar Classic. I always go for the higher end kits and didn't even look at the lower kits.

Good Policy. Sorry with the number of folks on the various forums, I don't even try to remember their particulars.
