Please Post and Check In - Midwest tornado outbreak

Hoping all our Midwestern friends have survived the ronado outbreaks in Nebraska and surrounding states, and that our Illinois and Indiana friends are surviving well in the outbreak now occurring.

Please post and let us know how you're doing. Thinking of you all. We are supposed to get severe storms this afternoon in the Southeast, too, but nothing like the Midwest.

I had to go to the basement due to a tornado warning (a small twister was observed nearby), but got off with just a hailstorm. Thanks for thinking about us, Jim.

I am at the firehouse today and the biggest part of the storm just went over us. Nothing major to report in Hammond, In. South and west of us is a sadly different story.

We didn't get a storm here. Just a steady 40 to 50 mile an hour wind all day yesterday. Showing the spots on tv where the tornadoes hit. Really feel sorry for those folks. Next thing it will show will be the same folks with a blizzard hittin them. Arne.

The bad thing about tornadoes is there is little too no warning....
At least here with hurricanes we know well in advance.]
