Next month I’m planning to start a pomegranate wine. I’ve got 3-1gallon bags of pomegranate seeds and found a couple of recipes online. Any suggestions on what yeast to go with?
A couple of notes:
- I’m hoping to make it bold and dry.
- It’ll likely ferment in an area that can drop as low as 62-64 at night. (I can try to keep it a bit warmer, but not sure)
- Can be tasty after a year or so
Here are some recipes I’m looking at:
https://northeastwinemaking.com/pages/pomegranate-wine
https://www.eldoradohomewinemaking.com/index.php/11-fruit-wine/67-pomegranate-wine-5-gallons
Anyone with any other recommendations?
Thanks!
