My wife blew a stop sign on her birthday. She’s ok, some small fractures and bruising. Thought I’d share pics of the car. The car that hit her basically sheared off the front end. All the airbags went off saving my wife from serious injury.

More floor leveling work today... man that thing was wavy but it is getting flattened out...



Could be as long as a week or more for it to totally dry. Access to the living room is cut off for now unless I go
around the outside of the house and let myself in the front door! When this is dry, I can do the remaining low spots on other half.

Henry 345. It just had to go in thick to straighten that spot. Then the wife just walked through it. More fun getting that taken care of.

My records from the early years are incomplete but it appears to be roughly 1.3 kittens per ton of wood.

You need to correct for density… it’s all about the void space!

So I decided to get a bit of exercise, a little cardio. My choices were the bicycle or the pedal boat. After some thought I decided some things are more difficult on a bicycle....and discovered I LOVE exercise!

Flew out to SoCal for a few days to visit the kids and grandkids. Went to the Hollywood Bowl for the first time in 5 years. Sold out show for Sara Barellies and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Perfect evening. Tickets are now digital and on your phone making it a little difficult to save for posterity on a bulletin board etc. Great show and its good to be back!

Today we enter month six of the four-month kitchen project, and so I went to H-D and picked up my order of flooring. I finally have the floor as straight as it is going to get. Those boxes are heavier than I expected! I lack a few pieces of trim that are easily obtainable, one panel that was supposed to have been delivered on 8/28, but the delivery company sux, and backsplash tile. I'm thinking completion in October.
