pumpkin carvers?

with halloween approaching and seeing so many awesome carved pumpkins, I was wondering if anyone here carved pumpkins and could maybe post some pics?

Drumlinridgewinery, very nice work. I have been studying your pictures and it seems that you did not removed the tops of the pumpkins. If this is so, I am wondering how you got all the "innards" out of the pumpkins. I can see where you could have worked through the mouths of the two on the ends, but I can't figure out the one in the middle. Also, on the middle pumpkin, did you use some type of boring tool? You appear to have votive candles inside. I can see how you got them into the two big pumpkins, but how did you get the candle into the small pumpkin?

I don't know, Guys. I can see the bottoms and backs of the two larger ones. Or do you mean they cut out the bottoms or the backs and then replaced them?

I say bottom too. that way there is not a big hole in the back. You set the lite in the bottom too

If you cut out the bottom, you can do a very small one just to get the guts out and it would not be noticeable.

I never thought about cutting the bottom of the pumpkin. Will have to give that a try next year. I don't do anything fancy with our pumpkins. My daughter cut most of them herself with my help this year. It was fun to watch.

we cut out the tops and dug in from there. The one with holes in it we did with a cordless drill and wood bits. That one rotted real fast and wouldnt stay lit tonite with the wind and rain we had here in southern WI.

I hope you guys and gals didnt have alot of money on this

And yes they are the daughters. 8 and 5 going on 17 and 14
