I have an older 100L VCT that I purchased from Presque Isle twenty five years ago. The valve is an odd one. No matter what we do we cannot reinstall it on the tank. PI Wine has not been much help. In their defense, most of the people who know this equipment have long since retired.
The tank opening is roughly 1 1/4”. We would like to outfit the tank for 1 1/2” triclamp. That means enlarging the existing hole.
Has any taken on a project like this? Have any advice?
