Remodeling

I have been slowly remodeling our home over the years, windows elec. etc. Our bathroom is the next big project. I'm always thinking and looking at new ideas.

Today while showering I think I've finally decided upon what I want, for the shower at least.

I want a shower where I can set the temp. digitally. It would automatically stay at that range during the showering time. Everyone here would have their own special setting. I think that would be nice.

I would also like a shower that would time the shower period and after a set period of time would announce that the showering period is about to end. Rinse off and get out!

This may persuade those lingering shower people to get their butts moving and get out.

Perhaps instead of ending it could terminate the flow of hot water so if you were not finished you would still be able to rinse off with cold water.

I don't know how the military does it with our kids. 3 minutes, if that, and you are done.

I'm not starting that soon. I have a few trim areas to finish in the hallway. Besides the 2 japanese maple trees are right out front.

If you DARE mention to Mike about having a shower that is timed, I swear to God you will never ferment another bucket of wine! For crying out loud Steve.

For a fee, I could create a device that would silence the running water after 10 minutes.

3 minutes would not be enough for me! Its the only time my back doesnt hurt, as soon as I get out its right back but while im in there its heaven!

Well, Steve
you can always put an extra ball valve down by the water heater. Do a little timeing on your own and start squeezing the ball valve down. ( oh yeah, but the valve on the hot water line.) After a couple of times of the hot water running out, you will probably wean em off the hot water. They have some nice timers for the bath fan now. You can get em with 5-10-15-20 and 30 min. timers. Set the timer and tell em the hot water runs out in a specified number of minutes. Btw, do not let the rest of the family members in on the fact there is a stop in the hot water line. lol Arne.

Oh yeah, make sure you get scald proof faucets and a water saving shower head. Both worth the money.
