Lodi Wine Labs was selling in "barrel size" quantities for most strains, but this year they dropped back on a lot of home winemaker-sized packages. Is there a source for Renaissance yeast in small batches? Lodi Wine Lab has the Avante in small quantities. That one appears geared towards reds. Every other site is 500g bricks.
Maybe we should see if @Matt_Pruszynski at Label Peelers can start carrying itLodi Wine Labs was selling in "barrel size" quantities for most strains, but this year they dropped back on a lot of home winemaker-sized packages.
I mentioned that to Matt last year, that there is a market for enzymes and yeast. I was hoping it would be profitable enough to make it worth his while.Maybe we should see if @Matt_Pruszynski at Label Peelers can start carrying it
Thanks!I reached out to John at the Grape & Granary, Akron, Ohio, and he said he would look into carrying renaissance yeasts.
Keep us posted!I reached out to John at the Grape & Granary, Akron, Ohio, and he said he would look into carrying renaissance yeasts.
It will help if everyone interested in consumer quantities of Renaissance yeast (amounts far smaller than a 500 g brick) contact G&G to express interest. Give G&G a reason to take this plunge.
I submitted a comment stating I'm interested in packets from 5 to 50 g.
Ditto ;-)I submitted a comment stating I'm interested in packets from 5 to 50 g.
Lodi Wine Labs has smaller quantities, but they are pricier, and the S&H is high. Not bad for 500 g, but probably ugly for smaller amounts.checking back to see if anyone has found smaller sizes (ie. 50g) of the Renaissance yeasts for sale in the US?
