I started one of these kits a couple weeks ago. Everything was going well. I racked to 2ndary, just fine. Instructions say to let it sit for 10 days and then rack again when the spg gets to 1.060.
Well, at day 10, it was 1.070 and after 15 days now, it's stuck at 1.070. Has not budged. The temperature in my basement did drop to about 63F when we had a cold snap. Is this probably why the fermentation is stuck at 1.070? Temp gage on the outside of the carboy is reading 63F still.
Should I put my brew belt on to see if it starts again?

You are on the cool side, go ahead and warm it up to 70 or so. It would help to give your wine a stir, get a little oxygen into the wine, the yeast needs it.

thanks, I didn't think to give it a stir...will do that now and put on the brew belt.

started bubbling again today, hopefully that fixed the problem.
