This kit was soooo good as it was, that changes by the manufacturer are like tugging on Superman's cape.

Ya I agree. New ownership and they moved across Canada. They eradicated quite a few kits as well as making changes to others.

I guess time will tell if it was for the better or just for the $

Logic would dictate that it was for the better. Making changes just for the $ would tend toward a lower quality final product, driving customers toward the competition. WE, CC, MM, etc..

I would agree except not all things are logical.

97% of all my wines are RJS. I'm hoping it's all for the better
