Bottled an RJS WS Washington Merlot this morning after 3 mo. of bulk aging. [BTW, this is the first kit that I've bulk aged when the instructions would have me bottling.] Had about 6-7 oz. of left over wine and am drinking it right now. Wow! For being so young I'm definitely well pleased with what I'm tasting. Will bottle age for 3 months before really diving into this batch. Even at this point I would recommend this kit to anyone liking Merlots.

I have about twenty bottles of this left on my rack, and I agree with your assessment. A very good kit wine! Mine is nearing a year old, and it only gets better. Enjoy!

Oh, and try not to give too many away at Christmas! ::

This was the kit on the buy list for Dec. But I pre ordered 2014 Limited WE Red Mountain Washington Cabernet Merlot so I am putting off buying the CCWS for awhile. Did I make a mistake? I made only 1 Limited wine before and it is still in the carboy.
