Sediment & Dark Floaters

I have a bottled 5 gallon batch of strawberry that is showing some sediment and I see one bottle that is showing some dark floaters. All processes were sanitized and when bottled and filtered it was crystal clear.

I have the same problem with a mixed fruit batch. This also has strawberries.

I have also made blackberry and 3 white fruit wines - pineapple, mango and papaya. No problems.

Any suggestions as to the cause?

It could be tiny pieces of pulp or seeds. I'm presuming all the bottles were washed out. If it's one open the bottle and examine. Any chance it could be some tartaric acid stained by the strawberry?

Yeah - but he filtered the wine. Seeds would have either clogged the filter or been filtered out - at least I would think so.

Have these been stored at colder temps? Could it be wine diamonds?

It has been getting down to 60 at night but I don't think that is cold enough to form crystals.

I have filtered strawberry and still had more sediment 3 months latter. Strawberry drops alot out. Also had little pieces of dryed wine down in curve at bottom come out of bottle I was sure were clean.

60 could cause wine diamonds if there is a lot in the wine.

Wine diamonds wouldn't be dark in a light colored rose wine would they?

They could depending on the wine - but i just re-read that you said they were floating - typically wine diamonds drop to the bottom.

So i think i was wrong about that.

Have you opened a bottled, smelled and tasted it yet?

I opened a bottle and tasted and did not detect any off taste. Appearance is horrible. Checked out several bottles and some did not throw any sediment and most have no dark floaters. I think MadMike's reply is probably the answer to the problem although I thought I was very picky when scrubbing out the bottles and sanitizing.
