I went to my shop early this morning to look for my faucet wrench and when I hit the light switch, nothing happened. Dang bulb has burned out again I thought as I made my way to my freezer where I keep all my wine fruit stored and opened the door to use the light from it to put in a new light bulb. Alas, no light came on when I opened the door but I was greeted by the horrible stench of rotting peaches, plums, elderberries, blackberries, pork loins, bacon, venison, etc, etc. Don't know how long it had been out but I know that about last wednesday or thursday was the last time I had been in it....HEART BREAKING !!
That really blows Waldo. I had the happen 2 years back but caught it just in time and had to make a huge concoction right then and there with all my fruits or throw them out. Its not what I wanted to do but I didnt have any other room to keep storing the fruit while waiting for more to grow. Waldo, do you keep your fridge on its own circuit as any fridge really should be or a compressor kicking on while another circuit kicks on can easily draw too much and trip a circuit. Wine flags t 1/2 mast everywhere please!!!!!!!
Thanks all for the condolonces. I think moving forward I will steam juice everything and can it like NW did. Gonna start hitting some yard sales for jars.
