Do any of you add yeast to your skeeter or just the slurry
 
a lot of people here don't use a slurry, some pitch out of the packet (like me), some use hydrated yeast, or a starter.
 
Sure, The more you think about skeeter the more in comes apparent that the lemon is there just for flavor, with that said, you could just ferment water and sugar and add the lemon for flavor, sounds crazy but I think there is some truth to it.
 
I just put in the slurry. No problem starting as it was going good in about 24 hours.
