Mother Nature is trying her best to be nice today...I strolled about to seek some signs of spring....

The Scillias are still blooming and some daffodils might open someday....

The alpine rock garden has a few spots of tiny colored flowers...

Spring is in the air...again...

Life is Good!!!!

We have been having good weather lately so I was out all day in the yard Sunday laying mulch, cutting grass all that fun stuff :). I am happy spring/summer is finally coming.

we are under a freeze warning for tonight. Every thing is heavely budded so looks like a repeat of last year. No fruit again this year. Edited by: corn field

Finally a little heat and humidity are bringing things to life....

A little color....

Finally the Juneberries are breaking buds and will bloom soon....Last year they were in full bloom now...

I was checking out the grapes today and see buds and could hear the ends of the large vines dripping into little puddles on the ground....guess their sap is running now....

Maybe thunderstorms tonight....feels like rain...

Life is good!!!!!

Yes, nice pictures. That's the closestsign of spring I've seen.

Spring is in full force here in Southern Mn. Everything is blooming and green, nice easy WARM showers all day...you folks up North, it IS coming!

I'm just starting to see buds on the maple trees so maybe spring will come after all!!

These cute spring showers are getting to be, way to many!
We should have been planting here two weeks ago and it is raining again today. I have 80 trees from the county in the shed, 28 vines from Winterhaven nursery in the shed and the corn & soybean seed is sitting on a pallet in the shed .

AND THIS IS WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE FROM THE HOUSE!

Farmer.....Your right it looks a little moist out there.....Once it's planted it will grow like crazy.

Jim got his wheat planted and is now working on the corn.....He'll take a break and then do the soybeans. We don't have that many acres, so just when he starts having fun it's over.

Meanwhile the veggie garden isn't even started...Well, I do have a patch of spinach under a tent that's coming up.... and the asparagus is coming up too...so we will have something to eat. First he ground was a little too wet to work up, then he got in the 'corn-mode' and I hated to bother him....Maybe this weekend....The ground is still pretty cold up here....

Going to pickup my tree order this morning...have most of the holes dug already ...Hope they filled the order okay.</font></font>

Seems every other day is really nice.....

Things are coming into their own.....
A little late...but very appreciated..

Spring...natures way of saying ....."Let's Party"

Spring opened her arms today.....Clear blue skies and warm winds.... Swallows are abundant and frolicking....other pretty ones are at the seed feeders...

I put the liquid bird feeders out yesterday...and as if by magic the birds were here today....

Truly the magic has begun....

Beautiful birds photographed by a beautiful person. They are drawn to you NW. I have a few Pileated Woodpeckers here now. I wish I could ever have a camera when they show up. They look like a big chicken up in the tree pecking away at the wood. Those are one noisy bird in mating season. I swear they recorded them for all the jungle calls you hear on television.
