How many other folks getting hit with this storm. We have 4" of heavy wet snow right now and are expecting an additional 7" over night. After two weeks of frosts killing off the cherry and peach crops who knows what this will do. The report is still out on the grape damage but I can tell you juice prices have jumped already in Ohio from last years harvest. I will be buying additional Chilean juice while its out right now. Hopefully most of the wine grapes will make it.

We are too far north to get much out of this. We had another sloppy inch this AM for the second day in a row. The snow on things won't do much of anything as it keeps the temps from freezing with all that ,oisture in it. I once had corn a foot high buried under 6 inches of snow. Other than being slightly bent over, it made it grow faster than ever. It is called a poor man's fertilizer.

We were spared. They were calling for several inches last night but it all stayed east of Pittsburgh. We got nothing! Hooray!
