Cellar Craft South African Pinotage

Has anyone made this kit? I'm wanting to try a Cellar Craft kit and this one caught my eye.

Also: If not, can you recommend a Showcase kit you've had good results with.

Have not had a bad Showcase kit (red or white) and I have made plenty of them. If you like Pinotage then I say go for it!

I agree with Mike. Cellar Craft makes some very nice kits.

I don't know if I like Pinotage which is mostly why I want to try it.

Its a Pint Noir/Cinsaut cross. Taste a lot like a Pinot IMHO so if you like Pinot you should like this. Too bad you don't have a Trader Joe's close by. They have quite a few of them at less than $10 a bottle.

I'd try to find a commercial bottle to see if you like it. I'd hate to see you make 30 bottles of wine you didn't care for. Good Luck!!

I like Pinot Noir andit's one of my mom's favorites. I'm gonna get it and see how it turns out!
