I was watching the storm also. I'm on the East Coast on North Carolina. I was wondering though, and forgive if it is a dumb question, does the change in pressure affect the wine in bottles and/or carboys. I have only been making wine for a year and we haven't had any big storms yet (here's me knocking on wood). Was just kind of wondering if I had to watch for anything special. Thanks.

Hey shelly, according to some it does...some say the atmospheric pressure will cause corks to blow...I have no knowledge because this season is the first that I have made wine also.
The storm looks like it may travel up the east coast...but they change all the time...just keep an eye on it.
