Strange wine

Hi All.
I'm new on here. Has anyone made any wine from strange ingredients.
As a child I remember my grandpa making silver birch sap wine.

I have an experiment going right now, but it's only a couple weeks out of primary. I applied a dandelion wine recipe to Mondarda (bee balm). This plant is sometimes used to make Oswego Tea. I steeped just the flower petals, let sit overnight and then fermented. We'll see how it comes out.
