Hoping to get some advice here...
I stabilized a batch of wine this evening, which I had intended to let it sit for about 3 weeks before racking a second time and then adding super-kleer.
Unfortunately I was trying to multitask and had another carboy open at the same time, which already had the Kieselsol already added, when I went to add the Chitosan I accidentally added it to the wrong carboy. I had a more Chitosan on hand, so I was able to complete the batch that needed it.
I guess I have a couple questions about what to do with the batch that has just the Chitosan right now. How well will the Chitosan settle out on its own? Is my best bet to let it sit for the 3 weeks I had planned and then add the super-kleer as per normal at that time? I'm assuming this won't really hurt the wine, but want to make sure.
Thanks,
