Weird thing is today I ran across a tango and a down under kit for sale. $132 each. Of course I'd replace the chemicals but do you think these kits would still be good and those of you that made these -I think rj spangols rq 2012-how did they come out?
Thanks

Thats like full price for a year old kit. I would only snag it for ~$100 or so. The juice should be fine, yeast I would get a new pack.

More like 2 years old. Last years had grape style names. The year before was still tango/down under. I have made them up to 3 years old with no issues. I did change out the yeast. Really like the Down Under but did not do the tango that year.

Paying over $100 is way too much. I got last years Cab Sav a few weeks ago for $80. Most likely wont come with any guarranty being that old.

cheers

I bought a year plus kit and had it be bad, but RJS replaced it and the 2nd kit was fine.

Just FYI, Tango and Down Under are both good kits. I like Tango better as it's very good at 1 year. Down Under might be best in another year.
