My parents used to make their own wine from fresh grapes. We always had wooden barrels in the basement with hundreds of bottles of Seagrams 5 Star full of wine on the shelves. I've been making my own wine and beer for years. One time I lived on a desert island with 7 other people and I made a cranberry wine in a garbage can... so glad the weather changed and we were able to get a fresh shipment in of food, mail and drink before I had to drink my own homebrew that time. (When I poured out the mix, horses came running and drank up what they could... boy did they curl their lips).
Today's project is taking an old fridge compressor and I'm making it into a vacuum pump. I was looking for a few ideas and that's how I came across this website.
