So anyone else watching this season of "The Bachelor"? Not much else on Monday nights this time of year and its one of those you can concentrate on as much (or as little) as you want. Its a great show to "watch" on the couch while surfing the WMT forums with the iPad or laptop!

For those that don't know, this season features down to earth Ben Flajnik an aspiring winemaker who got dumped at the alter last season when the bachelorette chose the other guy over him at the end. Last nights episode was filmed in Napa/Sonoma valley and had lots of picturesque helicopter flybys of acres and acres of vineyards, a lot of downtown Sonoma at night and of course many wine barrels for props.

There is quite a lot of eye candy this season for sure, lots of drama, meltdowns, and cat fighting and its only the second episode! :)

I have never gotten into those bachelor/bachelorette shows, myself.

I really enjoy the game show on one of the other stations at about the same time. It's the one where, when you get an answer wrong, you fall through the floor.

You are right, though, not much worth watching on Monday nights. It takes a while to get off the Monday Night Football kick.

Dear Mike...no self respecting wine maker would permit himself to be opened up on a show like that....and you sir have much too much time on your hands if you have time for that show.....now if you were watching the Big Bang Theory I could understand ;)

I only watch for the eye candy usually! Not much going on at the moment in the Winery, Everything that can be bottled is bottled, Cali grapes are in the barrel or finishing up the last little bit of MLF. I have a couple of Winter Whites to start sometime in the next couple of months. Unlike you guys we are actually having snow this Winter! :)

very greatful to have no snow here....no snow has given me time to pour the foundation myself....and now backfill w sand and let a new additional patio area all naturally settle for a few months...it has been a real blessing to save money on heat and not have to remove snow

Gonna be nice for sure Al, your making hay while the sun is shining! No more broken carboys hopefully with all the extra room. :br

Shows like the bachelor are the reason I have a big screen in my man cave. The wife loves those shows so I needed a place to retreat to!:h

Yea, its really hard to watch all those women in micro mini's and pumps.

Next week they will be snow skiing in string bikinis. Another very difficult watch for sure.

I want to be the editor that gets to blur out the tops and bottoms when things fall out. :)

Sounds like someone is spending too much time in the wine room. :h

I honestly don't have a problem watching (or admitting) that fact. 1 guy, 20 beautiful women throwing themselves at him. Not hard to watch for some reason. Now the Bachelorette version of the show somehow doesn't catch my attention for some reason.

Could be the 1 girl, 20 guy thing....... :sm
