Gave me goosebumps watching that; you just dont see craftsmanship and the 'love for the craft', like that, just anywhere, anymore...

We need more people in the world who love what they do, as much as that man did

Very impressive! The fact that the press ran from 1864 to 1972 is amazing. Like seeing that older stuff which shows craftmanship, and interesting engineering.

The press is still up and running. It is at the Swiss Heritage Village & Museum in Berne, IN

RR, thanks for posting. That was very interesting. I might have to make a trip to Indiana to get a first hand look at it.

From what I see from their web site there is an annual fest they have. This year it was the week end of Sept 7th. I have marked my calendar for next year. That would be about a 3hr drive for us. We love going to events like this. Rocky, would love to drive over and hang out...
