Time to get started on the boats winter projects, spring is almost here!!

It was the longest night of the Earth's 4.5 billion year existence. Got a wine name for that, Greg? ;)

Yesterday just flew by. Is it just me, or does it seem like today is taking forever?

Oh, you're just thinking about that Norton I owe you. Which won't be ready until this time NEXT year. ;)

Ha! I totally forgot about that! I still haven't opened the bottle of Horton Norton I got for myself when I got yours.

I haven't! I tried one at one year, still too much edge. It's different from any other Norton I've ever had. Must be because the grapes were late harvest.

Wow, and the days seem to just get longer and longer! We should set up some sort of special day at this time of year to commemorate the return of the sun! ;)

I know it sounds like a good idea but in reality it is a slippery slope. Next thing you know people will want days to celebrate when the days start getting shorter. After that, it will be the half way points. Then, the "days getting longer" people will want to expound on their day and require various traditions and gift giving resulting in the commercialization of special day. Next thing you know we are using more electricity and killing trees, fowl, and other creatures just to create sacrifices for our special day. Yeah, it sounds good but I've seen this happen before...
