So our brand X refrigerator needed its air filter replaced. My wife goes online to the store's site and orders a new filter which cost around $25.00 (I forget exactly what she said it cost and I don't want to ask her right now because it is a current sore point). I look at this thing, which UPS delivered today, and say I can't believe it cost that much. About 5 minutes research I find that you can get the very same filter for 3 for $10.99 off Amazon and just a little more off several other sites. :ft

I do have to admit that the filter came nicely packaged in an attractive little box with the appliance brand name on the box. :db

I'm not cheap, but I am frugal!

I understand you, why pay more, when you can pay less !

It's a dozen of brand new bottle that you can get for the difference...:h

The old saying goes.. caveat emptor! (let the buyer beware).

I once had this crook try to sell me a $15 thermostat for $300.00. I asked him to leave and never come back..
