Top sp looks like soap suds!

My sp was not fermenting very much at all after several days. It was a reading of about 1.055 after 6 or 7 days. I thought it had stuck so I put some energizer and nutrient in it in prep for adding yeast again. It immediately began bubbling like a "fizzing". Two days later it was at 1.015. I removed the fruit I had in it.

Today the sg is 1.005 with a lot of pink bubbles on top. Looks like soap suds. Temp is 75 degrees F.

Is this very bubbly condition normal?T
Thanks
Buster

That is likely residual fruit puree/pieces that are intermingling with the yeast..which like to form a cap on the top when fermenting. I would say you are good to go. Are you still in a bucket or in carboy/airlock?

With an active fermentation making Skeeter Pee, you can have a foam, or krausen, on top of the must. I use the K1-V1116 yeast that has a fast ferment.
