Hello all. Next week My Vintners best peach started last April is ready for bottling. I would like to add different flavorings while sweetening. The directions state to add 2 oz of wine conditioner for every gallon to start. According to google that would be equivalent to a 1/4 cup of sugar yes? Can homemade simple syrup be concentrated that much? Should I stabilize entire batch and then proceed to flavor/sweeten separately?
I'm definitely making strait peach, a jalapeño and toying with the idea of basil, lavender or ginger or maybe blending with some skeeter pee which gives us all headache on its own. Any and all suggestions are welcome on how to save/blend/dilute my skeeter pee as well would be greatly appreciated.
