<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">½ C 100-proof Vodka[/B]

<B style="mso-bidi-font-weight: normal">Bring sugars and apple juice to boil over medium-high heat. Add vanilla and spices. Boil for 4 minutes; then remove from heat. Let stand until just warm. Use a fine-mesh strainer to strain out solids. Discard. Transfer liquid to clean 1-quart container with a tight-fitting lid. Add brandy and vodka. Cover and let stand in a cool, dark place for 1 month. Rack or filter liqueur into final container. Enjoy now or age for an addition month before serving.
