Hey guys

wondering if you ever made a test wine out of these type of fruits, canned in a 96oz containers.

http://labelpeelers.com/vintners-harvest-blueberry-96-oz/

I haven't made a fruit wine from this but looking to make one not using any water at all as I've seen it is recommended by some folks like Turock.
I made DB many times but added water.

I know that fresh fruit may be better all in all but blueberries are not that cheap at the supermarket anyways.
I will check if these cans of fruit are pure fruit with no preservatives added.

Anyone has experiences with these?
Thanks,

Yup. Work good. Better then welches:) follow the directions on the can. Its kinda like a kit with no additives. You have to suppply those yourself. You still add watter however. If you do not you will have to adjust your additives. Let us know how it comes out if you do!
Some cans have more fruit, some more juice. Not sure which are which. I put the plum in fermenting today:). I followed the three galleon recepie. If it is too thin I can just add more fruit later to bulk it up. I helped a freind make the blackberry one, using the five galleon recepie. It came out like a nice wine. Not heavy but with enough flavor to be a pleasent drinking wine. Not quite tart enough for me however:).

I wonder what difference would that be compared to the juice concentrate sold by homewinery here (I know that one is pulp and the 2nd is concentrate, but in terms of a better product and final wine quality):

Those concentrates are one my list of things to try. Others coments and the write ups let me think the concentrates would be more consistant from batch to batch. Easier to use and more recepie adjustable. Affordable as well:)

The concentrate from Homewinery are only 64oz can and more expensive than the Vintner's Harvest Blueberry which are 96 oz.
But, the concentrate is supposed to be good for a 5gal batch, the Vintner's Harvest Blueberry for a 3gal batch.

I will give Homewinery a call and see if that 64oz would be ok to make a 3gal batch instead.
