Hello all, I just picked up about 45lbs of assorted muscadines from local vineyard. I plan on freezing them to use in about two weeks. My question is should I wash them prior to freezing them? I do not believe they are organic but not really sure.

i'm pretty sure i read on another post not to wash the grapes, that any water could dilute?
edit
i put in "washing grapes" in the search function and it pulls up a thread started by wildseedgirl and there is some good info in that thread...hope this helps...btw, one of the posts specifically mentions muscadines (and scuppernogs) having touch skins and freezing first helping with these grapes...

You could wash them as Muscadines are very high in acid usually requiring them to be diluted or cold stabilized later or even the use of an ngredient like calcium carbonate or potassium bicarbonate if not diluted so a little water wont hurt.

I did see that one other thread, but I was not sure if it applied to muscadines I guess. I guess either way would be ok. I just wanted to make sure that nothing would go wrong by not washing.
