What can you tell me about this old liquor store photo? (barrels with drip jars)

I'm an archivist and soemtimes get alcoholic beverage related photos. This is an interesting one. Looks like they got drip jars attached to the wine barrell spighots.

Do you have any idea of age of the photo? Anything especially noteworthy about it?

Thanks

Looks a lot like my Italian Grandpa's setup in his wine room in the basement. I'm sure they sold it by the jug – bring your own jug.

So, I enlarged this and started running various elements of it through Google Lens. It turns out the Schenleys Red Label Gin design is from 1939 era – this ad is 1939, so it's late '30s.

The Golden Glow beer ads also date to the late '30s.

The Old Grand Dad ad is from 1938.

To me, this is enough to pin it down to 1939 or 1940. The fact that there is a Rainier sign...

... tells me it was shot in the Pacific Northwest. Hope this helps.

I wish I could get this warning sign clear enough to be able to read it. It would be interesting to read.

Half the shelved or display case stock is beer. Quite a bit of display space is cigars.
