I've made all kinds of wine but one of the most unusual wines was a Thai basil wine. I had a bumper crop of his spicy anisey herb one year and made 5 gallons. It turned out sweet with a strange iridescent but clear color. I've have a longstanding request to make Mountain Dew wine but haven't tied yet.

I have a butterscotch wine going right now that I names Buttercup after my granddaughter who likes to help me especially on bottling day.

I have a request for cilantro/lime for a friend up north as a cooking wine. I'm going to start it tonight.

Currently I am making a gallon batch of Starburst jelly bean

After tasting a delightful raspberry wine a friend of mine made using raspberry jam as the base I contemplated taking a trip along Route 66 and collecting those little jam and jelly packages from all the diners along the way. Would make an interesting wine, no?

lol ya that would be interesting Greg .... make a photo gallery of the trip and the making of the wine start to finish... would make an interesting story!

Just make sure you line them all up in a box-formation before you start peeling them open so you can take a picture to call it your label :)
