Why is it that everytime we save a few bucks to to do something nice like go out to dinner something always breaks down like the car or the furnace? Usually its something that either I ca fix on the car and save a few bucks and just go cheapo for dinner or if its the furnace I can usually barter with the repair guy as his wife loves my wine! Last time he made an emergency visit, replaced the a relay and also the nozzle just because he was there and I didnt even get a bill. he did walk out with 1 1/2 cases of my wine though. The part itself was about $145!

Pizza place on speed dial would be no problem. Where I live we still get our electricity from one of the old co-ops set up during the Hoover days.
I have to have them on my cell phone list. When the power goes out, the house phone stops working!!
Bach when hurricane Charlie came through nearby and we did without power for 15 days, I was lucky to find an old rotary dial phone to hook up.

that I can remember the phone number to my local pizza joint but not my own cell number? This can't be healthy. :D

You're not alone. My Droid even has a phone book entry for "me", that is my cell number.

Edit:
Just to clarify, the "me" entry is automatic, so a lot of people must have the same problem.

I've called the hubby and asked him to read me back the caller Id... LOL!

Years ago I called a friend of mine and asked him what my home number was. I didn't have it in my cell phone.

I can still remember my parents home phone from 40 years ago. That's because you had to know it to call home, not the name of them or "home".

I couldn't tell you my wife's cell number. It's under her name.

I don't know my wifes, daughter or son's cell phione number as it is also under there names.

The only reason I remember by home number is because my wife continually ask me for it. the only thing we use the home phone for is A FAX. We NEVER even answer the home phone.
