Greetings,

This is my first post and I am a relatively new to this hobby. I have made two batches and am fermenting my third batch right now. All of them have been from juice purchased at the local Wal-Mart. I just recently stumbled across this website and have learned a lot already. My question is why do most if not all recipies for welch's call for using concentrate instead of the juice you can purchase by the gallon?

Just that its concentrated. Using store juice will require more sugar to get to the right gravity (1.085). but concentrate will give more flavor and body. Most cases its cheaper.
