Wine Volcano

Had my first Wine Volcano tonight!!!! My fifth wine and I was
wondering what all the hub bub was about...."never happened to me" type
of thinking.....Well, it got me!



First time I got the wine up to 75 degrees first as well, I had the
drill going to fast right in the beginning and wham, it just foamed
right over, there was no stopping it.



Another lesson learned the hard way

Been there done that a few times and it catches you off guard when it just rises with no stopping except to throw a paper towel over it to hold it down to stop some if it.

The last time that happened to me it was with a Mosti kit where you add the oak to the carboy during secondary ferm. It vomited every bit of the oak out on the table. What a mess!

There always fun! Mine have always been in my unfinished basement,and I used the water hose,and squeege for cleanup.
