Beef Jerky gun and food dehydrator

All I can say Dan is it makes a killer brisket! It is expensive but is extremely well made. I put my buddy's one together. I do have a spare room in Florida, you might want to thaw out this winter!

Beef Jerky gun and food dehydrator

Dan, I'm also looking at smokers. I think I've settled on the Rec Tec pellet smoker. A buddy of mine bought one and it makes a killer brisket! I'm going to check out that dehydrator!

Beef Jerky gun and food dehydrator

Dang Dan, I've been researching the same thing! Actually it was Franks home made Sopressata at Luva Bella's that got me thinking about it. Just what we need, another obsession!

Tonight I am having a 2010 Elderberry. It is amazing how this wine changes. When I made it, it was really nasty with all of the green goo, it smelled bad and many times I thought I should just dump it. I just pushed it into a corner and ignored it until I ran out of carboys. I then decided it...

A nice Tribute to Dangerdave and Dragons Blood

Let us all not forget that it was Lon's Skeeter Pee recipe that Danger Dave used. He only added some frozen fruit. I think Lon deserves the real credit.

Boatboy24, thanks! I use a Canon T3i. I usually take 3 exposures and process them with Photomatix and Lightroom. Sometimes I can get a little carried away on the HDR processing but if i'm careful, the HDR software sure brings clarity and detail to the photo.

    What R you doing today?

We enjoyed another trip to Luva Bella's and picked up 10 buckets of Italian juices, 2 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2 Chianti, 2 Amarone, 2 Brunello and 2 Nebbiolo. We had lunch at the winery and enjoyed a bottle of their Petite Syrah Reserve 2012. A very pleasant way to spend a cold rainy Saturday. I...
