    Aging for Moscato

Do you have to age your wine kit? Should I? Is there anything different with again and what wines should age?

Favorite Semi Sweet/Dry Red Wine Kits

New to the wine making! First batch of Moscato Is almost done and ready to bottle. Wanting to do a red wine next. Anyone like the red kits? What would be a kit for me to make that’s semi sweet/semi dry? I don’t like dry wine but not super sweet either.

Cleaning time for One-Step no rinse cleaner

When I purchased it online it says cleanser/sanitizer. After doing research it’s like up in the air. Some are saying it sanitizes some say it doesn’t. Some are saying it turns into hydrogen peroxide and that kills bacteria. So hopefully all goes well with my wine because that’s all I have used...

    Using One-Step no rinse cleaner

First wine kit I’ve ever done and just moved everything into the secondary car boy yesterday. I’ve been doing my sanitizing before anything touches the wine. I just realized from online that One-Step requires a 2 minute contact time. I never knew and kinda just washed my stuff with a clean rag...

How long does homemade wine last?

I’m doing a Moscato Kit and I’m wondering how long I could store my wine for until it’s no good. Obviously I can’t drink all 30 bottles myself! So how should I store it to preserve it longer? And how long will it last unopened?

Moscato Wine Kit 7 days in.

Just the regular Moscato Winexpert Kit. I believe it was suppose to be 1.070 for start but with me using a hydrometer for the first time and what not... it could’ve been a tad higher then 1.060. So it may not of been 100% spot on.

Moscato Wine Kit 7 days in.

First Wine kit ever. It’s been 7 days exactly in the primary fermentor. Took my 2nd SG measurement to see how it was after a week. Started at 1.060 and I’m now at 1.020. Took a little sample taste as I measured the SG and surprisingly didn’t taste too bad at all. Actually pretty good. Anyways...

    Help with primary fermentation

I’m using a Moscato Winexpert kit for the first time ever. Following my instructions I see that I should let my primary fermentation go on for 14 days. From there I should check the sg. My question is... I looked online to see how long wine should be fermenting in the primary container and I’m...

    Winexpert Vinyard Moscato Wine Kit

I just started my wine kit yesterday. Just wondering on what temp I should be keeping it at while it’s fermenting. I read online that white wine should be anywhere from 45-60 Degrees F. On my instructions it says 68-77. Well I’ve been keeping it in my basement with a blanket wrapped around it...
