    Other peoples wines

I'm waiting for the wine shipping law to be changed here. It's in the works. Hopefully it will pass. We need more winemakers here in MD to trade with. I still have a bottle of Oulettes Apple Pie, Running Wolf Blackberry, Wylie Winery Elderberry Blush, Dry Red Chambrucin that I think Doug made...

    Will this even be drinkable?

You can get frosting buckets that are food grade from your local bakery. They normally toss them out and have been pretty willing to five them away for free.

    What R you doing today?

Haha nah. I'm a tough one. Besides, I'd try to turn the bubble into a fermenter. Also, Just bought a new Amazon Kindle. Got one for Kat for her birthday and played around with it. Decided to get one for myself too. Last night I bought Kat's wedding band and she bought mine. It's not too gaudy...

With the cost of property here, we've been considering it. Either Hanover or Littlestown would be cheaper.

    What R you doing today?

Thanks for the well wishes. I ended up getting 34 skin test injections. The only thing I'm not allergic to so far is non seasonal mold. I'm going to be getting allergy shots to help. Also had a CT scan of the sinuses to make sure that everything is ok there too. The doc said within a year I'll...

    Accidental Champagne

Did you add sulfite and sorbate at bottling? What steps did you use in making it? Did you back sweeten? If you're finding new sediment that means a renewed fermentation is taking place. Best to check the rest of your bottles for pushed out corks.

    What R you doing today?

Spent the day with Tristen while Kat was at her chemistry class. Bought a book The Backyard Homestead. Has lots of good information in it. Can't wait to have my own land. Right now I have my little patch at the in laws place. They loved the veggies I grew last year.

Merlot vines - how many do I need?

Approximately 12 pounds of grapes are produced per vine. You can make make them produce more but quality will suffer. You will need about 15lbs of grapes to make 1 gallon of wine depending on your growing and wine making method, weather and other variables. I say to do some research and find a...

Just got home from work. Long week. Teleconferences with the State.. report entered to the Feds, several investigations going on, meetings with a lawyer and lots and lots of paperwork.
