I think I'm going to bulk age it, but I have a question about my white wine, I stabilized and back sweetened it, but it still has a strong tart taste to it. Why is that?
So I checked my strawberry wine today an it's cleared up quite well thanks to super kleer. It tastes a little stout though. I back sweetened to 1.020 and it tastes good. Just strong haha
Someone mentioned to me that adding a flavor pack to my wine wine will bring down its tartness ( its still fermenting right now, but I had to taste it, it smelled good :) ) How would you make a f-pack for white wine?
My flavor pack turned out very nice, I siphoned some of the wine out, put it in a glass and put a little of that flavor pack in it and it was very good
I was thinking about purchasing a conical frrmentor, I found that Blichmann makes a high quality one, and was wondering everyone's opinion about this idea.
That's a lot of sediment in one day, I can tell its going to drop a lot more. I can tell by the color, the top half is a darker red color and about half way down is a lighter pink color
