I sure have trouble with my big left foot getting in the photo!!!!
I activated the yeast before I added it and I did not add the oak cubes... I'm going to add the oak after I rack into secondary... unless you guys think I need to add them now???? I don't like only having it on oak for only 6-7 days... I will keep yall posted...
The stating s.g. 1.11 at 70 f... very dark and inky... smells wonderful very fruity... can't wait to try this one

Boy that looks terrific! I've got to bottle of couple so I can start mine. I plan on putting this in my barrel, so I will not be using the oak from the kit, I can't wait to try this one either!

Throw those cubes in and then transfer them to glass and let them sit for as long as you like. Oak cubes is easy to transfer!

I agree with Mike. I like longer oak exposure than 6-7 days with cubes.

I was worried about transferring the cubes....

I made the RJS Tannat Merlot and it is very nice, this should be a great wine also.

Ok sorry I'm late!!!! I rack to 6 gallon carboy on 3-12-2010... I rack the oak cubes as well. In the next day or two I will rack and bulk it for 6 months...
